We are looking for an individual who can provide expertise for reclamation programs throughout Alberta. To be successful you should consider yourself a strong leader and communicator, enjoy mentoring your team, and be creative when it comes to problem solving.

Make a Difference

  • Coordinate and complete vegetation management and Detailed Site Assessments (DSAs) assessing landscape, soils, and vegetation
  • Complete and/or manage Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
  • Coordinate and execute remediation and reclamation programs
  • Maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Provide technical expertise for reclamation programs
  • Collaborate with team members to execute remediation and reclamation projects in surrounding area
  • Create reclamation work plans and reclamation reporting/review as a professional
  • Review and interpret analytical results
  • Foster a culture committed to HSE excellence every day

Utilize Your Education and Expertise

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in environmental science or land reclamation
  • Registration with or ability to register with a professional body
  • 3-6 years of field experience with ESAs, soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, site remediation, and reclamation
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and guidelines
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skills
  • Motivated by a commitment to excellence and a strong sense of accountability
  • Emphasis on team accomplishments over individual success
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated cost control processes
  • Good sense of humour and strong admiration of mullet culture is an asset
