We are seeking an Environmental professional with technical expertise to provide stewardship and regulatory guidance on Remediation site management, site assessment and techniques. The Senior Technical Advisor will play a significant role in coordinating the execution for surface land deliverables for various oil and gas and facility projects and operational activities within B.C.  You bring experience of Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments and surface land Remediation.

Make a Difference

  • Oversee Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase 3 ESAs for remediation of industrial and oil and gas clients  
  • Develop and implement creative solutions for clients’ environmental challenges.  
  • Lead and supervise small and large-scale remediation projects.  
  • Analyze and interpret collected information and write technical reports.  
  • Stay current with relevant regulations, codes, and industry best practices to ensure clients adhere to all applicable standards  
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, directives, and SOP’s.  
  • Work closely to develop client relationships and project strategy. 

Utilize Your Education and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, biological science or related field.  
  • Registration with a British Columbia professional association.  
  • 5+ years’ experience with environmental site assessments, soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, site remediation.   
  • Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.  
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and technical writing skills.  
  • Effective management of activities requiring the use of environmental consultants or contractors.  
  • Good sense of humour and strong admiration of mullet culture is an asset  
  • Role requires a valid driver’s license.
