We are looking for an individual who can provide support for assessment, remediation and reclamation programs throughout Northern Alberta. To be successful you should consider yourself a strong leader and communicator, enjoy working with your team, and be creative when it comes to problem solving.

In this role, you will be a part of the Environmental Consulting team, based in the Fairview office and will have the ability to work with a great team.

Make a Difference

  • Assist field leads and site supervisors with development and execution of assessment, remediation and reclamation plans
  • Support the field execution of Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), vegetation assessments, and groundwater monitoring programs
  • Maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Collaborate with the team to execute remediation and reclamation projects in Northern Alberta
  • Foster a culture committed to HSE excellence every day


Utilize Your Education and Expertise

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in environmental science or land reclamation (1-2 years of consulting experience is an asset)
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and guidelines
  • Vegetation and weed identification skills in various landscapes is an asset
  • Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skills
  • Able to work outdoors and in remote regions
  • Motivated by a commitment to excellence and a strong sense of accountability
  • Emphasis on team accomplishments over individual success
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated cost control processes
  • Good sense of humour and strong admiration of mullet culture is an asset
