Take the Opportunity

As our newest Junior Liability Analyst, you will join 360’s industry-leading Asset Retirement Obligations (ARO) assessment team. You will utilize your data collection diligence and understanding of financial retirement obligations for various industries including energy and the public sector to model ARO for financial reporting and M&A. Success in this role will require you to merge technical knowledge with data analytics and 360’s proprietary database of $25 billion of evaluated ARO. Experience with technical file reviews, data entry, environmental closure regulations, and excel modelling will be an asset.

Make a Difference

  • Analyze assets across North America to support financial reporting and M&A transactions
  • Evaluate historical operating procedures, and environmental records to characterize assets for factors affecting closure
  • Review financial reporting and accounting standards to determine obligation requirements
  • Maintain databases of assets
  • Utilize GIS mapping software to assess assets
  • Update closure models for changes in economic conditions, technology, industry practices, and regulations
  • Assist in generating comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance analytical processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Adhere to strong quality assurance and controls when completing closure cost modelling and ARO reports

Utilize Your Education and Expertise

  • Diploma or Degree focused within the energy sector and/or accounting sector
  • Minimum of 1 year experience
  • Strong work ethic and desire for continual learning
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
  • Must thrive in a team setting
  • Good sense of humour and strong admiration of mullet culture is an asset
